Areas of expertise
Our areas of expertise encompass real estate in the broadest sense, including:
- project development
- transaction practice
- public and administrative law and regulations
- rent law
- construction law
We offer advisory, structuring, contracting services and litigation.
Our advisory practice encompasses all of the private and public law aspects of property law. We provide advice on: contracts for construction and work (e.g. under UAV and UAV-GC conditions); architectural and advisory contracts (under SR, DNR and RVOI conditions); rent law; spatial planning law (e.g. building permits, zoning plans, compulsory purchase and preferential rights of municipalities) and environmental law. We also provide advice on various forms of collaborative venture (and the structuring thereof). More particularly we specialise in shaping inner-city redevelopment projects in public-private partnerships and other forms. We also advise on forms of integral contracts (e.g. turnkey, design & construct, DBFM). In addition our core activities include providing advice on procurement law and state aid.
Our transactions practice deals in assisting in negotiations and drafting contracts relating to all the subjects referred to above. The general aim of this practice is to assist in the purchase and sale of property, whether the property is bought/sold in the form of shares or bricks and mortar. We also perform due diligence audits.
Our litigation practice handles litigation before both the ordinary (civil & tax) courts as well as the administrative courts. We also act in (construction) arbitration (NAI, RvA) and are involved in various forms of alternative dispute resolution, such as binding third-party rulings and mediation.
